A visit to the PetCare surgical service begins with a consultation with one of our friendly, highly trained surgeons. After reviewing the history of your pets illness or injury and performing a complete examination of your pet, they will discuss treatment options which may include surgery, and formulate a plan that is right for both you and your pet.

If surgery is recommended, you can feel comfortable knowing PetCare uses only the safest anesthetics. Doctors and technicians monitor vital signs such as your pet’s heartbeat, oxygen level, and blood pressure. Immediately following surgery, your surgeon will update you on your pet’s recovery. Patients awaken in our critical care unit where they are monitored and kept warm and comfortable.
